Manisha Koirala decided to marray Samrat Dahal, a businessman from Nepal. According to Manisha it was not an arranged marriage. Sarmat is seven year younger than her. Sarmat did his MBA from United States, he owns a company dealing with alternate energy sourses. Sarmat's father, Surendra Daha, is the owner of Leather Wings. Sarmat is also assisting his father in the family business.

Many bollywood celebrities attended her marriage, prominent faces were: Sunita (Govinda’s wife), Vivek Mushram, Suman Ranganathan. According to Manishia she would move to Kathmandu after the wedding. Her marriage ceremony took place in Nepal, at the Gokarna Forest Resort, 10km east of Kathmandu. Manisha Koirala's mehndiceremony took place on 17th June 2010.
